Spyros graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.

He qualified as a Certified Public Accountant at the State of New York in 1988.  Upon his return to Cyprus in 1989, he joined Reuters where he held several senior finance positions including that of the Regional Finance Director for Middle East & North Africa and Business Services Director for Emerging Markets. After leaving Reuters in mid-2005 he held the Finance Director position in two international companies operating in the software development and aviation industries.

Since 2010, when he formed ValueAchieve, he has been providing consultancy services in the area of business transformation and Shared Services to multi-national companies like Coca Cola Hellenic, Coca Cola European Partners, Coca Cola Icecek, Herbalife and Intrum AB. 

He is a member of the AICPA, NYSSCPAs and ICPAC. He served two terms as a Director of the Cyprus International Businesses Association (CIBA).

He is the founder and Managing Director.
